Privacy policy
The short version: this website collects nothing about you. The Nua product stores your account details, the test credentials you give it, and the recordings it makes while testing your app. We sell none of it, and you can ask for all of it to be deleted.

What this covers
This policy covers trynua.dev (this website) and the Nua product at app.trynua.dev, both operated by Nua AI, Inc. (“Nua”, “we”). If your company has a signed agreement with us, that agreement controls where the two differ.
On this website
We run no analytics and set no tracking cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your light/dark theme choice, and it never leaves your device.
- If you book a call, Calendly collects your name, email, and chosen time under its own privacy policy, and shares them with us so we can show up.
- If you email hello@trynua.dev, we keep the thread like any business would.
In the product
To run Nua for your team, we store:
- Account details. Your name, work email, and team membership. Sign-in is handled by Auth0; we never see or store your password.
- Test credentials you provide. The test-account logins Nua's browser agent uses to sign into your app. Passwords are encrypted at rest and are only ever used to run your tests.
- Recordings and evidence. Screen recordings, screenshots, console output, and network logs captured while Nua tests your app. This is the product: it is how bugs get found and reproduced.
- Context you connect. Documents and tickets from integrations you choose to connect, like Linear, Notion, or GitHub. GitHub access uses short-lived tokens; we do not store a long-lived GitHub credential.
- Your conversations with the agent. Chat messages you exchange with Nua inside the product.
- Billing. Handled by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our servers.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your data. To anyone, for anything.
- We do not run ads or ad tracking.
- Nua tests your app with the test accounts you provide. We do not go looking for your production users' personal data, and you should point Nua at test environments where possible.
AI processing
Nua uses AI models from Anthropic and OpenAI to analyze test runs, reproduce bugs, and write fix prompts. Your recordings and context are processed through their APIs under commercial terms that do not allow them to train their models on your data.
Where data lives
Data is stored on AWS in the United States. Everything is encrypted in transit, and stored credentials are additionally encrypted at rest. Error monitoring runs through Sentry, which sees technical error details, not your recordings.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Close your account or email us and we delete it, recordings and credentials included, except what the law requires us to keep (like invoices).
Your rights
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: hello@trynua.dev. We answer these ourselves, usually within a few days.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and tell active customers directly. No silent edits.
